Thanks for a Great Ride

Dear #GoTeamSpark Community,

A little over ten years ago we gathered friends and family and embarked on the exciting journey that has been Spark.  We put our customers first and shared our love for riding and running with our community.  Every year that has passed we’ve grown bigger and so has our circle of customers that have become friends and friends that have become family.

We’re proud of everything that we’ve accomplished but most especially the work that Team Spark has done fundraising for Homes For Our Troops and all of our work to give back to the community that has treated us so well.

After a great deal of consideration, the time has come to take a new and exciting step.  We are selling Spark Bike Run Sports to our partner, Trek Bicycle.  They will take what we've created here at Spark and build on it, continuing to serve our community in even bigger and better ways while sticking to the same core principles of treating people like family and delivering outstanding customer service.  We’re confident Trek Bicycle will immediately become a central support network for all cyclists in our community while also creating exciting employment opportunities for our existing team and those who join them.

While there will be some changes, we hope you find them as exciting as we do and know that we are leaving you in good hands.  We'd like to send a big thank you to each and every one of you for helping to make this place what it is, and for continuing to make us such a special part of the community.  We’ll still be here directing the events you love and supporting your love for cycling.

Keep Pedaling (and Running!),

Mike O’Connell
